Gingee Fort or Senji Fort is one of the biggest forts found in Tamil Nadu and it is located at around 160 kilometers away from Chennai in Viluppuram district. This fort was believed to be constructed by Chola Kings originally during 9th Century AD. It was further constructed by Kurumbars,Nayaks and subsequently indaved by series of invaders.More photos of the Fort below,
